    We are honored to announce that Ullberg: Wind in the Sails was featured at a private screening during the Red Carpet Party at this year’s Rockport Film Festival on October 31st, 2024. The film proudly received the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature.

    Kent and Veerle Ullberg were featured in the August issue of Padre Island and Port A Living Magazine, which included a special highlight of our Ullberg: Wind in the Sails documentary. The magazine will continue to provide updates on the film in their October and December issues.

    We’re launching the film on the national and regional festival circuit, targeting premier documentary showcases to build awards momentum and attract press, industry partners, and distribution offers. Alongside submissions, we’ll host Q&A screenings and leverage strategic outreach to engage audiences, programmers, and community organizations at every stop.

    After our festival run and PBS Texas premiere, we’ll pursue public distribution across multiple platforms: educational licensing for universities and museums, on-demand streaming (e.g., Kanopy, Vimeo On Demand), and curated community screenings with partner nonprofits. We’ll also produce a limited-edition disc package—complete with bonus features and an educational study guide—to deepen the film’s impact in classrooms and civic venues.
